Falls from height remain a leading cause of workplace fatalities and life-changing injuries, but together we can change that. This No Falls Week, we’re bringing the work at height community together for a special Conference & Charity Ball. Join us to connect with industry professionals, share knowledge and support our vital mission: preventing falls form height and helping those affected by the consequence. The free-to-attend No Falls Foundation Conference brings together experts, innovators and those with lived experience to share their unique perspectives on fall prevention.

From how a fall affects a family to how we can drive a stronger safety culture, and even how AI is shaping the future of fall prevention, they’ll tackle the key issues from multiple angles. 

With attendees set to pick up plenty of new insights and practical takeaways on preventing falls, this event is aimed at safety professionals, leaders, influencers and everyone else who supports our mission to ensure those who work at height come down safely.

FAQs

Where is the event being held?
The conference and charity ball both take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport. The address is: Pegasus Business Park, Herald Way, Derby, DE74 2TZ. This is a chic, contemporary hotel in a convenient location. There is free parking on-site for delegates and the hotel boasts a fitness centre, heated pool and steam room. Importantly, the hotel is eco-labelled so you can enjoy a sustainable stay.

Can I see the full agenda?
The 
full agenda is still in progress, although you can see how it’s shaping it up. You can expect to hear personal stories about falls from height and their consequences, what others are doing to prevent falls from height, new insights and actionable guidance you can take back to your own workplace.

Is there car parking on site? 
Yes, there are 300 parking spaces including 10 accessible spaces. Parking is free. Unfortunately there are no electric charging points, but you can recharge at the nearby Donington Park motorway service station, located on the M1, junction 23A.

Is the event fully accessible for wheelchair users and others with mobility requirements?
Yes, all event spaces are fully accessible. Accessible bedrooms are available at the hotel too.

Will you cater for my dietary requirements?
Yes. If you have allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements we will liaise with the hotel to ensure you are catered for. Just make sure to let us know about your requirements on your booking form.

What’s the dress code?
Business casual for the conference and evening dress for the charity ball (this can mean either black tie or lounge suits / other formal wear). 

How can I make a weekend of it?
If you fancy extending your stay in East Midlands, there are plenty of options for making a weekend of it. The hotel is just a few miles from Donington Park motorsport circuit where Bennetts British Superbike Championship is taking place from Friday 16 May.  Other nearby attractions include East Midlands Aeropark, Derby Cathedral or the National Space Centre. If you’re thinking of further afield, how about France, Greece or Hungary? You’ll be at the airport so could jet off anywhere you choose!

This event takes place during No Falls Week, a powerful campaign dedicated to promoting safe working at height in the UK.
