The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) has been in operation for around 50 years. It is the industry recognised qualification for those working in the scaffolding and access sector. It has 50+ training providers and over 70,000 current cardholders worldwide. The Scheme is based upon offsite formal training with an approved provider, on-site time served experience, health and safety, skills assessment and CPD via a defined programme. The Ladder Association is the not-for-profit lead industry body dedicated to promoting the safe use of ladders and stepladders. We work closely with the HSE and the Access Industry Forum to support codes of good practice, minimum standards for equipment, trained and qualified operatives, and education in the work at height sector. Our members include manufacturers, rental companies, training providers and ladder users. In addition to administering the LadderCard training scheme, we publish free safety guidance on our website.
The NASC is the national trade body for access and scaffolding in the UK – established 1945 and now serving a family of 300+ leading contracting firms, scaffolding suppliers and manufacturers. The Confederation produces a range of industry-recognised safety & technical guidance for scaffolding contractors, their operatives and their clients. NASC members are strictly audited – ensuring the highest possible standards are met. These standards are recognised by construction industry leaders, who continue to stipulate NASC-only companies for access and scaffolding.
PASMA knows access towers and cares about the people who use them. Our members include manufacturers, hire companies, hire & assembly businesses, training centres and instructors with one thing in common – they prioritise the safety of tower users in all that they do. As the recognised expert on mobile access towers, prefabricated tower scaffolds and low level work platforms, PASMA operates the industry-standard training scheme and publishes safety-related guidance and resources on our website.
