The Foundation

The No Falls Foundation is the first and only UK-based charity devoted exclusively to the work at height sector.

The Foundation is dedicated to preventing falls from height and helping people affected by the life-changing consequences of a fall.

Every year literally hundreds of thousands of people work at height in a variety of industry sectors. Some are more obvious than others, such as construction, roofing and facilities management, but there are also countless others who work at height on a day-to-day basis – often without realising it – in shops, offices, factories and hospitals. The list is almost endless.

What they all have in common is risk. The risk of a fall that might kill them or leave them with serious life-changing injuries with potentially devastating consequences for their families, friends and work colleagues.

Falls from height are consistently the leading cause of workplace fatalities in Great Britain, accounting for 28% of all fatalities in 2024/25.

Latest figures from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) show that 35 people lost their lives at work due to a fall from height in 2024/25.

The No Falls Foundation, in partnership with stakeholders such as the Access Industry Forum (AIF), other trade associations and professional bodies committed to advancing health and safety, has three distinct objectives:
